Become a Partner of Distribution

Get Involved : Become a Partner of Distribution (POD)

At Community Compassion Center, our mission is to provide essential goods and support to those in need, but we don’t do it alone. Instead of donating directly to individuals, we collaborate with trusted Partners of Distribution (PODs) who help us reach local communities more efficiently. By becoming a POD, your organization plays a crucial role in ensuring that the goods we receive reach the families and individuals who need them most.

Strengthen Local Networks

As a POD, you’ll collaborate with other community organizations, fostering a network of support that makes our outreach more effective.

How It Works?

1

Prepare Goods For PODs

The Community Compassion Center will organize the goods requested by the POD, and prepare the goods for pickup by the POD.

2

Coordinate Pickup of Goods

As a POD, you’ll work closely with Community Compassion Center to coordinate pickup times, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.

3

Distribute to Those in Need

After the goods are picked up from the CCC, your organization will be responsible for sorting, storing, and distributing the goods to individuals and families in need throughout your community

4

Upholding Accountability

To ensure transparency and accountability, we ask that PODs provide us with written and video stories/testimonials that illustrate the lives impacted by the goods your organization has distributed to the community. We love to see how we’re helping you to serve your community better through in-kind donations. Our corporate donors also like to see the impact of their donations. The more visibility they have on where their products are going, the more likely they will be to donate even more to support our nonprofits which helps everyone in our network.

Requirements for Partners of Distribution (PODs)

To ensure efficient and effective distribution, we ask that our PODs meet the following requirements:

  • Receipt and Transportation of Goods: Your organization should have the ability to pickup donated goods from the CCC, and transport them to your facility.
  • Distribution Infrastructure: You should have the means to distribute goods to individuals or families in need through your own network or established process.
  • Execute the CCC Memorandum of Understanding (MOU): PODs must agree to sign the CCC MOU, which includes a description of the POD’s mission, the POD’s tax-exempt status, and the POD’s commitment to ensure that goods received from the CCC are used for charitable purposes only.
  • Commitment to Community Service: We look for PODs who share our commitment to helping those in need and who can responsibly manage the distribution of donated goods.
